What We Do.
Locally, Millbrook Rotary provides dictionaries to 3rd graders in area schools, gives books to 8th grade graduates, offers scholarships to MHS graduating seniors, and sponsors Rotary Interact Club at the local high school. Proceeds from our Directory allow us to continue to support local food pantries, addiction recovery programs and literacy programs.
On national and international levels, Rotary Club of Millbrook is engaged in Rotary International’s major initiative to eradicate polio globally (PolioPlus) and the ShelterBox Program (tents and emergency supplies following disasters in the US and around the world). Other projects that have received our support include recovery efforts in areas in the US affected by floods or fires, health programs and clean water projects in emerging countries.
